How to use it

1. Enter your words or phrases, one per line.
2. Generate the cards.
3. Print or save them.

How many entries you need

A standard 5x5 card has 24 spaces plus a free centre. You need at least that many entries to fill a card, and considerably more if you want cards that differ meaningfully from each other.

With exactly 24 entries every card contains the same items in a different arrangement, which still works but means everyone gets close to bingo at the same time. A larger pool produces genuinely different cards and a longer, more interesting game.

Common mistakes

• Supplying too few entries, which makes every card nearly identical.
• Writing entries too likely to happen, which ends the game in minutes.
• Forgetting the free space when counting how many entries you need.
